Our Story: A Legacy of Hard Work and Reliable Service

In 1977, Gary Lofing founded Lofing Electric in Columbus, MT. For the next 30 years, Gary and his wife, Pat, built a highly respected business while simultaneously running a local ranch. In 2006, their son, Pete, graduated from Washington State University and returned to his hometown to begin his electrical apprenticeship under his dad. Pete mastered the trade and is now a certified Master Electrician.

When Gary retired in 2019, Pete and his wife, Amber, proudly took over the company. Today, they carry on the family tradition, growing their dedicated team while Pete continues to train the next generation of electrical apprentices to serve the Columbus community.
